Exclusive ASATT Roundtable with Jean-Nicolas Beuze, UNHCR Representative to the EU  

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention—the cornerstone of the international refugee protection system. 

To mark this milestone, A Seat At The Table is hosting an exclusive roundtable with Jean-Nicolas Beuze, UNHCR Representative to the EU, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal. 

With more than 27 years of experience with the UN, including leadership roles in Iraq, Yemen, and Canada, Jean-Nicolas will share his insights from his career and his experience working across human rights, peacekeeping, and child protection. 

The discussion will explore the legacy of the 1951 Convention, UNHCR’s role today, and what the future holds for international refugee protection.
