Thanks to the support of AstraZeneca, we bring you the Women in STEM Fellowship for young women who want to embark on a journey of personal and professional development and flourish in the world of STEM .
👉 Despite their many efforts, too many girls are still left aside in STEM. Whether it’s the inadequate support or lack of opportunities and training during their education, women face many obstacles on the road to success in STEM fields.
👉 The Women in STEM Fellowship empowers and uplifts young women from underrepresented communities in Belgium and enhances their development in science, technology, engineering and math.
👉 The program exists of monthly events and workshops with trailblazing women from all around the world, an international trip to AstraZeneca offices and a mentoring program.
👉 Events may include round table discussions, public speaking workshop, networking, etc.
👉 The program lasts for one year and you will be matched with a mentor who will make time (1h per month) to help you realize your dreams and ambitions.

All young women with an interest in STEM, studying or active as a young professional in STEM.

- What kind of workshops will be organized?
Negotiation, public speaking, making your voice be heard & networking.
- What kind of events will be organized?
Round tables with powerful women in Belgium, networking events in different sectors.
- How often will these events be organized?
There will be one event every month, some live, some online.
- Do I get a mentor?
Yes! Everyone is matched with a mentor with whom you can spend an hour a month (online) for a whole year, talking about your dreams and ambitions. Or maybe over coffee together ;).
- What’s the duration of this program?
1 year, we do not organize events during the summer.
